The Community Housing Resource Board has the following informational materials available. Feel free to download and print them as needed or call the CHRB office at 406-256-9355 if you need a few sent out to you. Brochures

Fair Housing : It's Your Right (Available Soon) offers basic information for both housing providers and home seekers about rights and responsibilities under the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Montana Human Rights Act.

A Layman's Guide to Renting (Available Soon) provides basic information about the questions we are most often asked about the Montana Residential Landlord Tenant Act.

The 2007 Community Guide to Fair and Affordable Housing is a resource directory of over twenty community agencies that offer affordable rental housing options as well as assistance with rental and utility deposits. The Guide also includes information about first time home buyer and financial literacy classes.

Each of these five fact sheets focuses on one particular fair housing issue and gives some basic information on how to identify possible acts of housing discrimination.
